minutes: subgroup 2

Today we discussed what kind of time can be logged as part of our ePortfolio PD time . The following ideas were presented:
· Meetings
· Learning and practicing Contribute for teacher pages
· Learning new web tools (Dave showed us his cool calendar, Gail shared her blog)
· Preparing lessons for artifacts
· Learning new technologies for artifacts
· Learning how to use the student template
· Helping students with the creation of artifacts or with their websites outside of class time
The rest of the time we spent making sure that everyone could access and post to the blog. Using the projector, Dave led the way, created a new post, and others commented on the post.
