is PDF is easier than Excel as webpage?

After learning to use Word 2007 for creating webpages I thought I could save an Excel file the same way...I was very excited because I use Excel for my syllabuses and wanted to post them. In the past I have tried putting them directly into Contribute blank pages and even into word, but they don't translate well. Unfortunately saving an Excel file seemed to be complicated (maybe because of the "sheets"?)......So Gail came along and suggested saving the Excel file to a PDF and then linking that as its own page. Admittedly its not EXACTLY what I was hoping it would look like, but I will continue to work with it. It definitely makes Contribute happier.
