We addressed a number of concerns and questions:
- Web sites—how do we get them up and running, specifically for a semester course?
Realistically, collecting artifacts, planning the student ePort, etc. are things that a teacher can accomplish during the 1st semester. It’s impossible to teach the students how to create their website, too. - Next year—do we stay with ePort? Move to another cohort?
We all agree that CHOICE is a crucial element in making the cohorts work. We need to finish what we start, and look for long-term development. - We would like to know what the overall plan/big agenda is for the 4 cohorts?
- What’s type of portfolio are we creating? We talked about “growth” and “best work” portfolios
We would like to make a “template” out of http://teacherspace.swindsor.k12.ct.us/staff/educlos/ePort.htm
We would like to develop a flow chart of the template as well.
